The Nature Based Coastal Solutions and Ecological Restoration Symposium will take place June 23rd-27th, 2024, at Saint Mary’s University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and is dedicated to creating a space for reflection and collaboration to support the continued advancement of nature-based and restoration projects in Canada and North America. Hosted by TransCoastal Adaptations and CZC’s NBCS Community of Practice in partnership with the Society for Ecological Restoration Eastern Canada, the Symposium will connect coastal and restoration practitioners, academics, planners and more. Join us at the Symposium for a series of plenary-style talks, posters, and field trips, and learn more about nature-based climate adaptation and ecological restoration work being conducted regionally and nationally.
