We’re excited to launch a Call for Artists – Logo Design for the Coastal Zone Canada Association (CZCA)!
As CZCA continues to evolve as a national network connecting science, communities, and practice around coastal resilience and integrated coastal zone management, we are refreshing our visual identity to better reflect who we are today, and where we are going.
We are looking for a logo that captures:
• The connection between people and the coast
• The diversity of Canada’s shorelines
• Collaboration, stewardship, and shared responsibility
• Coastal resilience and working with nature
Process:
• Submit a short expression of interest and portfolio
• A small number of artists will be shortlisted
• Shortlisted artists will be invited to develop logo concepts (honorarium provided)
• One concept will be selected as CZCA’s new visual identity

Submit the following to [email protected] before April 17th, 2026
• Name and contact details.
• Website and/or design-related social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Portfolio containing 3-5 samples of prior logo designs. If no prior logo design experience, please provide samples of other relevant artistic works.
• Brief description of any relevant professional experience or personal connections to Canada’s coastal zone.
• Contact details for minimum one reference.
We encourage submissions from artists and designers all across Canada.
